It is about a mystery that has interested Americans for centuries- What happened to the lost colonists of North Carolinas Roanoke Island? Somewhere in the 1580s arrived settlers who disappeared in 1590, which was the first colony that settled at the place of todays USA, the region of Roanoke Island. According to some sources this was the third group of English arrivals on North Carolinas Roanoke Island, settling near the modern-day town of Manteo. This colony has disappeared but the exact reason why it happened is still unknown. Theories about the disappearance differ from an annihilating disease to a violent rampage by local Native American tribes. Earlier digs have turned up some information and artifacts from the original colonists but only little about what happened to them.

The main character in our game today is this adventurist whose favorite work is digging mysteries and solving them if its possible. Some of those mysteries can be solved while some of them cant but the fact that someone is exploring about what actually happen, gives so much additional information about that happening, so we cant say that it was unsuccessful at all. Our character has been exploring a lot and besides the common information that spreads in the science circles, he has found a legend that says that near this place where the settlers have built their city, there is some kind of portal that spreads a huge amount of energy.
